Welcome 2010

Welcome 2010! I hope I will be able to keep up on the blog this year. It's one of my goals to update monthly to catch the precious times we are having with the kids. They are growing up way too fast and of course are saying funny things. I recently had parent teacher conference for Jaxyn I was so proud of her, she is one smart little girl with energy to learn! The kids had each made a poster about themselves. One of the questions they had to answer was if they could have anything in the world what would it be. I read some of the other kids answers - a million dollars, a wii, a puppy, a million new toys, and then Jaxyns, "That Hatcher's heart could be fixed." It was enough to make me all teary. She is so sweet to him and he wouldn't know what to do without her. I am so grateful she is a little mommy and takes such good care of him. Jaxyn thank you for being you and giving us so much joy.

Happy New Year

We had a great New Years Eve up at Danny and Brooke's. We got Chinese take out, tons of snacks, games, laughing, fireworks and fun. We love having such fun neighbors and sure have been spoiled by them! The next day we enjoyed all the wet snow and made a huge snow fort, I think us adults had as much fun as the kiddos! Then it was inside to warm up by the fire and have hot cocoa and pizza. What wonderful memories.

Everday Happenings

The kids and I have been staying busy with lots of fun projects. We made Randy a giant heart cookie and the kids decorated it with m&ms. They were so happy to surprise him with it and made him close his eyes and presented it to him. We got a little snow and the kids made this little snow man. They put it right out the back door and enjoyed watching it melt away. When he was just about gone Hatcher says, "Mom, oh no, he died!" Another funny thing Hatcher is into is Jaxyns heeleys. After she leaves for school he gets them on and tries to use them. It is so funny. He keeps them on all day sometimes, you would think it would be uncomfortable, but he loves feeling like a big boy.

Hatcher got really sick and boy was I worried. I am so grateful we have such a good pediatrician, she is the best! Hatcher ended up in the hospital with pneumonia, he is a tough little guy. It sure makes me appreciate all the time we have been able to be at home! He hates his oxygen, but he is on the mend and starting to feel lots better. I love you Hatcher.

Magic Mountain Tube Hill

We traveled up to Magic Mountain with Josh, Kenzie and Cooper and had a wonderful day tubing. It was so much fun, we hooked our tube on the lift and it pulled us to the top. We raced, slipped and slide all around. Every time we made it to the bottom Hatcher would say "Again, Again." Jaxyn loved going fast and was doing it all by herself, she is such a dare devil!

1000 Springs Swimming

It is so wonderful to have so many good friends here. We had such a fun day swimming and eating snacks. It makes me so sad to think of us moving, we will miss them all! Hatcher really got into it and felt so big. He kept saying, "I swimmin Mom."

It was great to see Shane and Uncle Dane and his family! Emmy and Easton were so much fun to play with. I love the picture of Easton on the pony with Hatcher, he may be from Texas but he is definitely a baseball player not a cowboy! Hatcher was really proud he could dress up just like the girls, sorry Hatcher but it was too cute! It was nice just to hang out, play in the snow and enjoy some adventures on Papa Ralph's ranch!
