Wheatley Family Pictures 2010

Thank you Jamie at Spin design photographics for doing such an amazing job with our family pictures! I have been wanting to get these done for some time now and I'm so glad I did! Jaxyn and Hatcher are at such a sweet age right now and they love each other so much. The other night Jaxyn told me, "Mom, I hope nothing ever happens to Hatcher cause I don't know if my heart could take it." They are so good to each other and for having such a big age gap play so well together ( Well, OK, Jaxyn really is more like a second mom!) I treasure these precious times together, especially with Randy gone so much, we really seem to appreciate each other. Hatcher thanks for keeping everything in perspective for us, you make our family! I especially love the pictures of the kids close up, she really captured their sweetness! Thanks Jaxyn for always being my best pal, and Hatcher, I love it that you are a mamas boy! And Thanks again Jamie for doing such a great Job!

Good Bye 1st Grade

Jaxyn had such a great 1st grade year with Mrs. Brown! She really is a great kid and I'm so proud of her. She has such good friends and really works hard at school. Hatcher and I had fun helping out the last week of school with some fun activities. He loves to be a big kid and get lots of attention. I wanted to take her picture on the last day and just as I was going to she pulled this cool first grade move, she is so cool! The last day of school they had an awards assembly - she got MVP in PE - and was so excited, the PE teacher said so many nice things about her, way to go Jax! She loves to learn and Hather just wants to play with his cowboy stuff. No matter how much I work with him on his colors everything is pink!

Dance Recital

Jaxyn did a wonderful job in her dance recital! She is so lucky to have a friend that loves dance and rodeo, your the best Alx! She had 3 numbers with her class - a tap, jazz, and ballet, then did a cute solo to Scooby Doo! I didn't take a picture in her Daffney costume, she had a fast change, but she looked so cute and sure can shake it, way to steal the show Jax!

Gooding Rodeo

Jaxyn sure did great with her first rodeo of the year! She qualified in Poles, mutton busting, and the goat tail untying! She will get to be in the August 16th Rodeo where she will compete for some great prizes, way to go Sis. Her good friend Alx sure makes ridding and rodeo lots of fun! Hatcher entered his first event where he ran up to a goat, was not too sure what to think of it, pulled the ribbon off it's tail, and ran home! It was so cute. I need Uncle Dane to teach me how to put video on the blog so I can share these funny moments! Jax took a pretty good spill off the sheep and was not too excited about the barrels, she broke the pattern, but learned a lot! Did I mention that it rained, hailed, snowed and was freezing cold! Hatcher loved it all but just wanted to wear Randy's gloves and work the gate going into the seating area, he opened and closed that thing more times than I can even count! It will be a fun summer full of rodeos! Sassy, thanks for being a great pony for the kiddos, they love her so much!

Mother's Day Tea Party

Jaxyn's class hosted a Mother's Day Tea Party! It was so cute, they put on the play, "Are you my mother?", Sang us some songs, then we went to thier desks where we had treats and lemon aid. Jaxyn made me some beautiful jewlery, a coupon book, and the cutest card that had her top ten favorite things about me. It sure made my day!

Hearts for Hatcher

What can I say but THANK YOU to Mrs. Hales 3rd grade class! We went to Inkome Elementary thinking we were going to share some information on the heart, instead they had a major surprise in store. When we walked in and checked in at the office news Chanel 6 was behind us and said, Oh, this must be Hatcher. It was then I started wondering what was going on. Needless to say they had an assembly and we then learned her sweet little class had raised almost $3,ooo dollars for our Hathcer. From tooth fairy money, a complete stranger who made these cute little rocking chairs to auction off, duct tape purses and wallets, bake sales, much more, and lots of love. It was overwhelming. It really renewed my spirit seeing these kids who wanted to help another kid they had never even met, perhaps that's why I was a cry baby though the whole thing! Anyway, there is a really neat news clip if you want to visit Pocatello News Chanel 6 and then search for the story, "Students raise money for toddlers heart." Its a great little cap - cousin Harlee steels the show with her interview, thanks aunt Nichole for all your hard work, what a special memory!
