Hatcher Update

Hatcher's (well, OK mine too) favorite nurse AMY! We love you and know we will be friends for years to come! Thanks for being so good to our little cowboy! I love little parts of him that I actually get to a kiss on!
The swelling in his face has really gone down, he looks a little more like Hatcher today!

First of all we want to thank all of our friends, family and even strangers who have given us so much strength. Although exausted, we continue to be lifted up by all of you! Hatcher is still on ecmo, and is very sick, but he is making small amounts of progress each day. He continues to have fluid on his right lung which is his biggest hurdle at this time. I have been so hesitant to take any pictures but felt like today is a new day with new hope! Both of the Papa's stayed by Hatcher's bed side last night so Randy and I could sleep. Walking out of the room I couldn't help but tear up seeing these two strong men that he loves so much watching over my sick little boy. Love to all of you, go give those you love an extra hug and kiss!

  14. Not a second goes by that we're not thinking about you Britt and Randy, Jax . . . and ESPECIALLY HATCHER. I was totally not expecting updates on the blog - wow, how you never cease to amaze me li'l sis. I have felt so heavy all week and it killed me to get sick and to not be able to come - want to be there with you more than anything. Yesterday for the first time - my heart wasn't so heavy. I know HOPE lifts, FAITH gives us peace, GRATITUDE draws us near, and LOVE heals. Praying, praying, praying - love you.

Even Brynn who doesn't even know him is sure he's at the front of her prayers with something along the lines of "bless my awesome cousin to get stronger and better so he can come over and play with me" :) You and Randy are amazing parents with such strength and love. I'm so glad you have a nurse that you love - makes all the world of difference! Bryson's cousin who lives in Idaho Falls has a son with HLHS and she's been following your blog and has high hopes for Hatcher as well! We love you and look forwards to your return!!!
